Everyone has a story and this is mine

Hey there! I’m Shine Krishna — a Product & Experience Designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. I currently design at Westpac, creating meaningful experiences that make banking simpler for both customers and staff.

Before Westpac, I shaped self-service platforms at Spark NZ and designed streaming experiences for lightbox, SparkSport and FastFilmz in India.

I’ve always been drawn to art and problem-solving. As a kid, I spent hours sketching and painting, dreaming of being an artist. Life steered me toward commerce first, but design eventually brought me back to what I love — blending creativity, logic, and empathy to solve real problems.

Over the past 13 years, I’ve learned that great design isn’t just about pixels — it’s about people. I love understanding complex systems, untangling them, and turning them into experiences that feel effortless.

As an INFP-A (Mediator), I’m deeply empathetic and curious about human stories — and that shapes everything I create.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me exploring art, music, or working on side projects that make life a bit simpler (and prettier).
